How long before an iPod nano is less than $100 ?
With the recent price drop of the iPhone, how long will it be before Apple reduces the price of it’s stunning littleMP3/Video player? Introduced in September and already outselling the cheaper shuffle, it must be soon. Not long until an iPod nano touch is introduced methinks.
It’s impossible not to love this little player; everything works as it should and despite battery issues in the past and with the iPhone, this one seems to be living up to it’s hype. The only drawback I can find is the thing is too damn small. If, like me you have hands the size of dinner plates and fingers fatter than an Italian sausage, you might prefer the iPod classic. Quite apart from the extra size, ten times the memory capacity for another $50 seems like a bargain to me.
Sturdy designs combined with proven technology are keeping Apple at the top of the portable video player market. And rightly so; if it passes the Mark Knowles destruction test program (I’m a little hard on gadgets) it must be well built. Kudos to Mr. Jobs and his outsourcers. Before you buy a portable player, take a look at the Apple iPod nano.

I recently received the iphone as a gift and I like it so far but it is so nice that I’m scared to break it. I practically carry it on a pillow! The battery life still doesn’t last long, even with the new version but I can tell where they’ve made improvements. However, I am still a proud owner of the original ipod. It plays music which is the only feature I truly want. One day, I may upgrade but as you mentioned, it will take a price drop to convince me. Thanks for the review!

Of course, the original is now a “classic,” so worth a fortune?
