TimeSnapper: Classic

imageThis app is very interesting as the fact that it records a snapshot every 5 seconds. It is taking a few pictures as I type. It works very well, as it allows you to watch all of the snapshots like a video. The movie capture defaults at a fast-motion speed. It is helpful if you just want to watch, but to look for things that are going on, then you can change the speed.

You can also choose a new folder destination for where you want the image files to go to. There are also a plethora of choices for images file types for your screen shots. A lot of what is going on in the program is in the background, except for in the icon bin, where it shows the Timesnapper icon, so you can go to it immediately to turn it off, or watch a movie, or edit with the options menu.

I believe that if you are suspicious of other people on your computer, or you just want to know what you do with your time, then this would be an amazing download. There is also a Professional version which you can demo, or the Classic which is free. You have to register for it, though. So do expect a little bit of update e-mails.

Might I recommend AutoScreen (http://www.16software.com/autoscreen)? It allows you to upload to an FTP server and run in hidden mode.
