Bang & Olufsen’s flagship earphones, the A8, are, for me, a serious contender for the sexiest earphones ever award. Great ergonomics and styling, made of Aluminum and rubber, means they fit as well as a pair of glasses. On top of that, they sound good too.
Like most miniature earphones, they have a problem with bass, but there’s no avoiding that with speakers of this size. The only real issue with these is the cost. Having said that, you get a “free” pair with the purchase of a B&O Beosound 6 MP3 player. I use the term “free” loosely because a BS6 will set you back around $600.
If you’re sick to death of the iPod earbuds falling our of your ears, this pair is definitely worth considering. They are expensive compared to many other brands on the market, but the excellent styling and longevity makes up for that. They have been around for a few years now and have consistently scored highly in consumer reviews.
Prices have fallen a little and it’s possible to pick up a pair from around $150.
A couple of things to watch out for, especially buying used pairs is that there are a number of fakes around, so make sure you buy from a reputable seller. The other thing to note is that, as is, they will not fit the new iPhone without an adapter.

I like these and I almost bought them until I read your last sentence about them not working on the iPhone
Thanks for pointing that out.

My pleasure. For some reason, the iPhone has a recessed earphone socket and a lot of earphones need an adapter to work.
