Who’s Going Where? Dopplr Knows
If you or anyone you know travels often, why not allow Dopplr to be of service? No, it doesn’t report the weather. It helps you keep tabs on where your contacts are and where they’re going to be. This way you can find people who live in the cities you plan on traveling to and share your travel plans with them.

With Dopplr you can choose to share your trips with certain people, search for people by name or location, and be notified when people that you may know sign up. I, personally, don’t travel as often as I’d like to, but many of the important people in my life do, and I like the idea of being able to know where they are in the world even if we haven’t been in touch.
The main drawback to Dopplr right now is the limited number of users–Dopplr is in private beta right now and still doesn’t have many users. Additionally, most users only share their trips and locations with other fellow travelers (i.e. friends), so unless you invite or find people you know you won’t actually be able to get much out of Dopplr yet.
All in all, it’s probably not the world’s most necessary service, but I’m sure it has its place. Plus, it’s very clean and simple to use. Learn more about Dopplr at www.dopplr.com.
