Polaroid 7MP i733LP Digital Camera

It’s not often I come across a camera and think, “OK, they got this one right.” Currently priced at under $100, the Polaroid i733 is the perfect point and shoot. If I was buying a camera for my ten-year-old kid, or my ninety-year-old grandmother, this is the one I would buy.

The spec sheet is enough to satisfy just about anyone, but I think most buyers are not going to be interested in the spec sheet. You pick it up, you point, you push the button and you get decent quality 7.0 megapixel photos. What on earth more could you want? Oh yes, I forgot, it comes in purple, red, blue, orange and gold..

Apart from the color, the other thing going for this camera is the oversize 3-inch LCD screen. That’s why I say I would buy one for my grandma.

OK, it’s only got a 3x optical zoom, but that’s not the point (sic) of a point ‘n’ shoot. You’re supposed to be able to point and shoot, and that’s what this does. If you are interested in the specs, they are available here.
