The holidays are quickly approaching and many people are starting their shopping in earnest. In order to try and take some of the stress off of this sometimes onerous chore I have compiled a list of the best places to shop this holiday season. While some of them are fairly well known, I am hoping to bring light to other places that may not be as well known but are certainly worth the time it takes to visit their site.
Have a reading buff who seems to have every book you could think of? Take a quick look over at Lulu. Lulu is a self publishing service that is full of books on every imaginable subject. One of the best things about Lulu is that most books come in printed and PDF versions. Lulu is a great place to find interesting books by self published authors, and may be just the place to find a book for the reading buff who has everything. You can find Lulu here.
While ebay is not quite the place for bargains and saving money it used to be, it is still a good place to look for people wanting to save a bit of money. Also many people tend to price cut pretty heavily on ebay as the holidays begin to approach and this means savings for you. If you havn’t tried ebay yet, go give it a try here.
Have an altruist in the family? Or perhaps you want to give a gift that makes a difference this year. Heifer International is a Non profit organization that allows you to give donations to help people in other parts of the world by giving them gifts of seeds and animals to help them grow and maintain their own food. Heifer is a strong and honest company that you can feel good giving too. Visit them here.
Gifts.com is a great place to find gifts for just about anyone. There are several ways that you can search for a gift including by personality. While some of their prices may not be the lowest you can find, they are easy and fun to use. You can buy a friend a gift here gifts.com
