Sporting a racy 2.6-inch touch screen, the phone is wearing a 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and USB in 2.0 flavors, FM Radio, microSD slot for memory, multimedia player and A2DP for stereo music over Bluetooth headsets; data networking by EDGE.
It’s a shame it says Samsung on the back, because this is one of the nicest looking phones on the market right now and even more expensive than the phone Prada and LG recently released.
As thin as a 19-year-old with a $600-a-day cocaine habit, the Giorgio Armani/Samsung phone is a serious attempt at the iPhone consumer’s dollar, and I wonder if it comes with a free pack of Marlboro Lights?
It looks like “skinny” is still top of the European designer’s wish list with the Armani phone weighing in at a wallet-busting 3.6 ounces, and 88x54x9.9 mm dimensions. ( Got to be under 10mm thick apparently.)
Price? A cool 650 euros, which translates to $950, but there are no plans to ship this one across the pond to the U.S.A at the moment, so you will have to live vicariously through the galley images. If you absolutely, HAVE to have one, darling, no doubt there will be a few private imports cropping up on Ebay over the next few weeks.
