A 3.5 inch monitor adorns the front panel allowing you to watch DVDs as you drive down the road. I can’t decide whether that’s a good idea or not – let me think: being able to watch DVDs as you drive? – Yup, sounds perfectly reasonable to me. And how I ever managed without gold plated video output terminals, I’ll never know.

Of course, no one would buy this just because it has Bluetooth capabilities and plays DVD-Videos. This forms the basis of a complete in-car entertainment system allowing video monitors to be connected in the back seats while allowing you a private conversation on your phone at the same time. This is a seriously good quality piece of equipment. I’ve owned a few JVCs over the years and always found them well built and tough. Recommended retail is $649.99 but last time I checked, Amazon had a few at a good $200 less than that.
