Logitech io2 Pen Review

Posted on 19 December 2008 by clark

The Logitech io2 pen is wonderful for college students, business women and men, teachers, doctors and anyone who takes a lot of notes. The Logitech io2 pen will save you precious time. Once you handwrite your notes, you attach the pen to your computer with a USB cord. The handwritten notes will then be transferred to typed notes. The notes will pop-up on your monitor screen and will be surrounded by a framed box. You can edit any notes in the box if you wish.

Not having to re-type your notes is also a huge stress reliever. If you have a laptop the Logitech io2 pen is for you. You truly do not have to save any notes to disc as you already have a hard copy–your handwritten notes.

If you do not use a computer to store your notes you may prefer to start. No longer will you need hard copies of folders and file cabinets, now that you can easily store your information electronically. This is a huge saving of room and organization.

If you carry your laptop to and from work or college, you will always have your important notes at your side.

The Logitech io2 pen has a curve to fit your hand comfortably. The circumference of the pen is larger than a normal pen but the curvature makes up for it. The pen refills are very simple to do.

To start using the pen simply remove the cap. To stop the pen simply put the cap back on.

A power adapter is included with your Logitech io2 pen purchase as well as five pen refills, a cradle to lay your pen in when downloading to your computer and when recharging, a Post-It note pad, a notebook of paper and directions.

You will have to purchase paper designed to work with the pen. The cost range for the paper is $4.95 to $14.95. The software used to work with the pen is $39.95 and is called MyScript Notes.

The programs the Logitech io2 pen works with are Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows 98 and Windows XP.

The Logitech io2 pen costs around $199.00. I have seen it online for $39.99 to $139.99 for used pens. Even with the cost of the pen and accessories, I highly recommend the Logitech io2 pen for people who want to save time and stress.

Notekeeper Review

Posted on 25 August 2008 by JoCoWash

Remember when I wrote about FruitfulTime TaskManager? Their software is amazing and has only made my hectic life a lot easier. Remembering tasks is a pretty hard job and we might end up forgetting some important things and the consequences could be drastic. The best way to remember and manage tasks is to have a to-do list. However, just when I thought TaskManager got the job done, I was introduced to NoteKeeper 2. FruitfulTime Notekeeper 2 is just as easy and great to use as TaskManager, however, Notekeeper 2 is a professional and comprehensive note taking software. FruitfulTime NoteKeeper 2 helps you to keep your notes and references all in one place. Easy to find, read, and update.

I’m a blogger, so this software has proven to be very useful. Once installed, I was writing notes in no time and saving them to work on later, or archives posts that I have already worked on. You can include, pictures and links, so it was even easier to to references to later. But NoteKeeper 2 isn’t just for bloggers. If you have been thinking about turning that journal of yours digital, then you can. If you are a student and would like to keep your research within NoteKeeper 2, you can easily do so. Professionals, students, bloggers, etc. can all benifit from this amazing software. Fortunately, FruitfulTime NoteKeeper 2 includes the same secure privacy features that TaskManager did so if you are worried about sneaky eyes, then not to worry – you can lock up your most sacred secrets.

FruitfulTime NoteKeeper 2 also helps in the following:

  • Supporting documents, such as spreadsheets, can be referenced and opened with one click.
  • Access your notes anytime and anywhere when you install on a USB thumb drive.
  • Work offline with no internet connection.
  • No need to worry where you saved your notes file
  • Keep your notes organized in one place and never lose anything.
  • Assign keywords and color tags to notes for quick reference.
  • Style your notes with fonts, colors, and pictures.

And that is just to name a few. Being that it is FruitfulTime, they pack many features for a reasonable cost. I have been working with FruitfulTime NoteKeeper 2 for a good week now, and I absolutely love it. The only problem I have is that it isn’t yet available for Mac. Perhaps in the future, this will change, so until then, I will continue using NoteKeeper 2 on my Windows machine.

If you are interested in trying out FruitfulTime NoteKeeper 2 for yourself, then I suggest you do so. You have 30 days to play with it, and after 30 days, $30 ($29.99) will be asked of you. If you don’t like it, they guarantee 30 day money back.

FruitfulTime NoteKeeper 2 is available now for Microsoft Windows Vista/XP/2000.

Mojonote is Mojogood

Posted on 19 November 2007 by TheGrizz

Have you ever had one of those days that you seemed to forget just about everything that you had to do? I know I have had a lot of them (and that’s not counting when I do it on purpose), luckily however there is a way to remind yourself of what you have to do and when you have to do it available online. These services are called Task Management applications, and their main purpose is to give you a place to list all the things you have to do and then remind you about them.

Back in October I reviewed Remember the Milk and was really impressed with it. So impressed in fact that I had pretty much decided that it was really the only task management application out there that was worth using. Well as is often the case, I was wrong. I recently ran across mojonote.com and I got to tell you this little task management app may not be the prettiest, it may not be the biggest, but it is seriously one of the easiest to use apps out there.

First you sign up (which as with most task management apps is free) and then select if you want to set up tasks, lists, or notes, input the information hit enter and you are done. That simple. Not only that you can set up multiple lists, different dates (which are emailed to you in order to remind you) and as many notes as you want. However while it is good, there is a problem with it. You can’t automatically reschedule your tasks, so if you got something you want to be reminded to do every day, you have to input it for every day. But really this is really a small complaint given how easy the site is to use, so if you are looking for a task management application take a swing over to mojonote and check it out.
