I have a suspicious feeling that everyone at some point in time will have a brief moment of online fame. To speed you up in the process, I am going to tell you exactly how you can achieve an online celebrity status. For a few minutes anyway. Take a look:

1. Publicize your IM screen names, URLs, and Net addresses everywhere and often, and reply to everyone. Promote yourself to the fullest. Treat the Web like your house: When Opportunity knocks, be there to answer.
2. Build a website site with personality if you want to build a fan base. People need to feel that you, and not an anonymous webmaster, are there. There are soo many ways to build a site, it is ridiculous. Equally ridiculous is the number of social networks there are. Join some, make friends. Make sure to update you site and/or blog and social network every single day, and remember: If it is not interesting, users will click to the next page and move on.
3. Update your site with new audio and video clips as often as you can. Pictures tell a story, and some people like looking at stories instead of reading them. There are several hosting services, and again, I will mention social networks because some provide you with all the tools you need to share video, pictures, stories, and whatever else you want to share.
4. Get active. Join the community. Interact with those in forums and message board. Have fun doing it and make no enemies. Like my mother has always told me, “If you respect others, others will respect you!”
5. One more option would be to get a job – an online job. I provided some cool ways to make money online, and I would recommend you take full advantage of them.
